For ‘All Mountain’ my solo exhibition at Gallery MAR, I’m presenting a new collection of mountain landscape paintings that explore and reveal the layered ecology and geology distinctive to the Rocky mountain region. The works will range in scale and encompass the seasonal changes to the landscape. From the fast flowing rivers of Spring that give way to the delicate wildflowers of Summer. From the Fall Aspen trees transitioning to the snowy peaks of Winter. I have been observing the patterns of nature closer than ever before and have introduced textures and colors into my process that mimic the strata and layered visual experience of life at high altitude.
